Our Approach

Evidence-based mental performance training for sport, work, and life.

Your mind influences every performance, whether you've trained it or not.

At Mile High Mentality, we help individuals strengthen confidence, focus, resilience, emotional regulation, and decision-making through practical, evidence-based strategies that translate directly into competition, work, and everyday life.

Every session is personalized to the person in front of us. Together, we identify the mental barriers limiting performance, build skills to overcome them, and practice those skills until they become habits you can rely on when they matter most.

Performance isn't built in a single session. It's built through consistent practice, intentional reflection, and the courage to keep showing up. That's the process we're committed to helping you develop.

MEET OUR TEAM

The people behind the process

Darian  Gurule, M.S.

Hi, I'm Darian. I'm a mental performance coach, Colorado native, and someone who's built his life around helping people do hard things.

What drew me to this work was the opportunity to help people discover what they're truly capable of. Performance isn't about becoming someone different. It's about learning to consistently access the ability that's already there.

What I've learned is this: most people don't need more motivation. They need to think more effectively, trust their preparation, and follow through consistently.

That’s what I help people do.

With a Master’s in Sport Psychology and experience working with athletes, high performers, and military populations, everything I teach is backed by research, real application, and lived experience, not surface-level motivation.

If you’re serious about getting better, I’m serious about helping you do it.

Taylor Larsen, M.S.

Hey there, it's Taylor. I'm a nationally qualified bodybuilder and business owner, and I hold a Master's degree in Sports Psychology.

Because I also work in clinical mental health, I understand how self-concept and internal patterns directly shape performance, confidence and consistency.

Performing at your highest potential requires presence in the moment and  genuine authenticity. I help you learn how to trust yourself by becoming aware of your patterns, regulating your responses, and intentionally choosing actions that are aligned with who you are.

My work focuses on helping clients shift limiting beliefs so that they perform and live from a place of true authenticity and self-empowerment.
